OakGrove is located in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry and only 65 miles from the Savannah International Airport. OakGrove is also conveniently located only 225 miles from Atlanta, 75 miles from Augusta, 85 miles from Columbia, 90 miles from Charleston, and 65 miles form Hilton Head Island and Beaufort. Also, for those with private planes there is a paved local airport 15 miles from the lodge; inquire for details.

What to bring
The weather conditions in the Lowcountry can be quite variable from one season to the next. During September through October, the temperature may rise well into the 90's, therefore lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended. November through December, the temperatures may range from the 20's to 70's. Other items that one may want to include are:
